There are two books by Dr. Robert Becker, 'The Body Electric' and 'Cross
Currents'. I believe if my memory serves me correctly it is in the latter
book where he relates his experimentation with electrically injected silver
and gold ions for the regeneration and healing of cartilage, muscle etc.
While this is not exactly colloids (at least I don't think so) it is very
interesting reading and he also covers considerable ground on what he feels
is safe in terms of electrical currents being introduced into the human body.
He does mention that the electrically injected silver was the only thing
known to science that exhibited anti-bacterial action on a broad spectrum
basis, in other words it killed them all regardless of what type they were.
Perhaps he was generating colloids within the person's body itself!
