Ian,

Thank you for your reply to my recent post on the White Gold list.

I have to admit that I agree with your reasoning for not publicly publishing
the name/address/phone of your analytical lab. Having a bunch of phone
calls from all over the place questioning the analysis would not endear you
to the people at the laboratory.

Since you asked for suggestions about how you might make everyone happy
without compromising your policies, I think I have a solution. I have
checked with Joe Champion privately and he has agreed to honor the following
proposal.

You email directly to Joe Champion (not to any list) the name and number of
the analytical lab that you used to run your tests. Joe has promised that
he will not make the name or numbers of your lab public information. He
will maintain that information in strict confidence. Then Joe will make a
single contact with the lab to verify the laboratory findings and will then
publish the results of that contact to the White Gold lists.

There is no way that a single call from a reputable and knowledgable
scientist would injure your relationship with your laboratory. Joe will not
be calling to heckle the lab and with a professional approach will handle
the whole thing with 'respect and integrity'.

As I said in the beginning of this suggested solution, I have contacted Joe
in advance to be sure that he would agree to the strict confidence of any
information about the name, location or phone number of your lab. He has
already assured me on that and I am quite sure he would give you the same
assurances privately as well as publicly on the list if asked to do so.

I can not speak for anyone else in this matter as regards scepticism and the
willingness to entertain new ideas but for myself you are incorrect. I
really do want to believe that the product that you are selling is what you
say it is and will aid in philosophical enlightenment. I want to believe
that by taking it I might achieve some of the benefits that David Hudson
talks about in his lectures. But on the other hand I am reasonably cautious
about what I am willing to ingest in an attempt to effect the desired
results. If I did not hold out some sincere hope that David Hudson is right
about what he says the effects of taking his White Powder Gold would be then
I can assure you I would not have created the non-moderated White Gold
Forum. I also hope that your product might be able to provide the same or
similar benefits. If I did not hold out some hope for that I also would not
be proposing this solution for the analysis dilemma.

Ian, if you are willing to allow Joe to make the single phone call to verify
your laboratory results from a reputable lab and those results show that the
material that you are selling is safe to ingest then I can promise you that
if you have not been receiving orders from this list you will receive at
least one from me. I believe you would receive a lot of orders from others
on this list as well. I do not expect the lab to say that your product will
produce the results that David Hudson says his WPG will produce. I know
better than that. No one can guarantee that result. On the other hand if
your product is truly safe to use then I am willing to purchase some and
give it a try. I am sceptical but more than willing to be convinced. I
actually want to be convinced.
