Dear Friends,

I have a couple of minor gripes. Doesn't anyone else on this list have a
spelling checker or dictionary? If you do run it on these words:
synical, Einsteins. If that proves useful, run it on a regular
basis. My spelling is terrible, that's (not thats) why I regularly
use my spell checker.

It is easier to read multi-paragraph missives if there (not they're)
is some way to identify where one paragraph ends and the next
begins. The usual conventions are to either indent the first line,
to put an extra line feed between paragraphs or to do both. The
extra line feed makes it easier for me to read.

We're (not Were) trying to portray reasoned scientific discussion
amongst well educated individuals. A little attention to these
details will help in that portrayal.

This refers to Hudson's claim in the Dallas presentation that:

For those of you who are interested, did you know that NASA has
learned that you can scrape tissue out of the checks of the
astronauts, and put the equivalent of a lie detector instrument
on the tissue and that when the astronaut is out there, you
know, millions of light years away, that when he's subjected to
stress, that the cells instantaneously experience stress here on
Earth even though they're not in his body.

And they've actually done this and proven it and so, because it
takes hours for the radio transmission to come back, then to
sort through, send it back, what to do, but the very instant he
experiences stress they know it, even though his radio
transmission hasn't come. They know that there is a
communication capable instantaneous between these body parts
from that person and that person. It isn't broken when it's
taken out of his body. They know that. They're working with
radionics. They know about this.

Hudson's statements here show a stunning lack of understanding of
some of the basic facts of physics and the scientific method. A
light year is the distance that light travels in a year. Astronauts
have never been even as far as a light year away from earth. The
farthest astronauts have been from the earth is in orbit around the
far side of the moon which is only light seconds away from the earth.

While I do recall reading of these experiments, I don't recall that
the experimenters suggested that the results demonstrated any
measurable comparison of the relative speeds of telepathic vs.
electromagnetic communication. As I recall the results were spoken
of as suggestive that the "telepathic" communication was taking
place and did not suggest that it was faster. Citing this reference
by Hudson does nothing to enhance the scientific credibility of any
theory that "thought energy (or psi energy) is not bound by the
normal laws of physics as they apply to this space-time continuum."

At this very moment, lawless logging

the air we breathe and the water we drink.

Insanity is doing the same thing
and expecting different results.
