I have worked on a couple of the Hudson transcriptions but have never
had any association or contact with Hudson. I did the transcriptions
for my own purposes and to make them more widely available. It is my
understanding, from conversations with Jerry Decker (of Keeley Net)
and others that Hudson strongly objected to transcriptions of his
lectures being available on the Internet when he first heard about
them.

Several of my comments were based on my meager understanding of
nuclear physics. (Damn it Jim, I'm a forest activist, not a nuclear
physicist.) As far as I know Hudson is the first to tie experimental
"observations" of superdeformed high spin transition elements to
materials found in relative abundance in nature in a theory which
seems to have internal integrity. This theory ties together many of
the "unknowns" of our world into a scientific framework. The theory
needs confirmation and duplication.
I know of a hand full of people who are working toward duplicating
Hudson's results. I expect that while it took one person seventeen
years to develop this process, it will probably only take one year
for seventeen people to duplicate it. The key to the success of
those who are working to duplicate Hudson's process is being able to
glean as many hints and tips from Hudson himself as possible. This
is why I feel that transcriptions of all of Hudson's presentations
are so important. Hudson often will drop one hint in one
presentation which he has dropped nowhere else. Anyone want to
transcribe a portion of any of Hudson's presentations? I am the self
appointed transcript coordinator. I will help with editing and
making sure that no two people are transcribing the same segment.

I contacted Brian Josephson (yes that Brian Josephson) about his
opinion of Hudson's theory. He deleted the attached transcript
unread. He did say that if I sent him a summary that he would read
that. There are other values for this Theory Paper.
Thank you Everett for your efforts to move this thing forward.
